Holy Bible 24/7

The complete New Testament, read aloud around the clock. All 27 books play in order, Matthew through Revelation, then start again. It uses the Twentieth Century New Testament, one of the first translations into everyday modern English, made in the 1890s by about twenty ordinary church members in England so working families and young people could understand Scripture in the language they actually spoke. Clear, warm and easy to follow, and each book opens with the translators' short introduction explaining who wrote it, when, and why. Read by J. A. Carter. Translation and recording are public domain, free for everyone. Questions or prayer requests: cjbaldwinson@gmail.com
